Sherry Espenschied, RN

 

sherrypicPrior to her current role, Sherry has worn many hats within the CareStar organization.  Starting as a Case Manager in 2002, she has also held the position of Intake Supervisor and Provider Enrollment Supervisor.
In addition, she has served as a certified “Train the Trainer” for the Ohio Department of Health, during which she trained nurse aides at Buckeye Career Center in New Philadelphia, Ohio.

Previously, Sherry served as the Nursing Home Liaison for Hospice of Tuscarawas, Carroll and Stark Counties, and was the Director and Assistant Director of Nursing responsible for Staff Development at a 120-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Hurricane, West Virginia.  Sherry also has experience working in Intensive Care, Workman’s Compensation and Group Homes for the Developmentally Disabled, in addition to helping incarcerated teens and volunteering as a Parish Nurse. Sherry graduated from The Akron City Hospital Idabelle Firestone Hospital School of Nursing in 1975.
