Why would this program benefit our agency?


The benefit to your agency would be the ability to meet yearly inservice requirements for non licensed employees with minimal expense and time to your agency.  These inservices will free up licensed personnel to complete important tasks, like caring for patients.

What if we don’t have enough computers in our office to do this program online?

 

Computers can be accessed from other sites, i.e. the local library.

How does my agency know if the employee has completed a course?

 

After completion of a course and passing of the quiz, the student will then print off a certificate.  A copy of this can be kept in the employees file.

How many times can an employee take a quiz?

 

The program is set up so the employee can take the quiz 3 times.

Can I see one of your courses?

 

There is a sample course on line.  Go to Online Courses.  Select Home Health Agency or Adult Day Center and then sample course.

How many courses do you have?

 

There are more than 50 courses to pick from and more being developed and placed on the website monthly.

How do we sign up for an inservice package?

 

These are the steps:

 

1. After payment is received, a form will be sent to your agency via email.

2. The form will require listing the inservices that have been selected, an email address for each employee and one password of at least 6 characters to be shared for log in purposes.

 

3. Once the completed form is returned, the email addresses of your employees will be registered with CareStar Learning, LLC.

4. Notification will be sent when all names have been registered and your employees can log in and begin taking the selected courses.
